hi gailey, I have had to cut down on food bills and followed the cheap meals planner. It certainly meant changing eating habits but we saved loads to help pay off bills. Look at http://www.cheap-family-recipes.org.uk/ We managed to live through the Winter on just £100 per month for all our food. It was all designed by weezl a real Old Style MSEer.
Well done on managing to pay something off each monthbusiness mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Hello everyone and happy September.
My first payments for the month have come out - a grand total of £549.00.
I don't think I will reach the target but I'm going to give it a good try. Every bit extra paid off is a bonus.

No 32 reporting in with my first update of the year... sorry!!
DH ended up going self employed in the end, so our income is reduced on what is was - but we've managed £8569 capital reduction in the mortgage so far against our £10K target -so I'm pleased with that. Can't remember how much of that is extra to our expected standard mtge reduction, but we have be overpaying as much as we can (over £2k is OPs) We're on target to achieve the year's target in Nov, so I won't amend it upwards, as there'll only be one month after thatWe also haven't gained any debt in addition to the mortgage
It's been a tough year at times, but we're getting there....I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -
Hi, not been around here for a while, but on looking tonight I am so impressed with how everyone is doing and although I will struggle to get anywhere near my target of 26K repaid before the end of the year - I am going to keep trying!
Highs so far this year:- being down to a single card and not using any credit now for over 18 months
- losing 53 lbs - (but another 24 lbs still to go)
- mortgage going under 100K
- weight loss slowing down to only half a pound each week:(
- amount of money available to reduce debt/mortgage is getting less and less
- OH's health (nothing too serious - but spending too much time in hosptial)

hypno question is your outstanding unsecured debt excluding morgage under 10grand as thats amazing from what you were.
Yes, now below £8k as another payment came out today.....heading nicely in the right direction and will be very pleased when it is over!No 32 reporting in with my first update of the year... sorry!!
Better late than never!!weight loss slowing down to only half a pound each week:(
But half a lb each week is still a good result - do that every week for a year and you will have lost loads!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
