Hello everyone,
It is with some embarrassment that I return, having got so close to the end and, basically, fallen off the wagon.
I've been back to my old tricks of spending like a trooper even though I knew full well that I couldn't afford it. My credit card balance was being paid off in full each month - out of my savings, which now are at zero. The balance for this month I will be able to afford, just about, but it means I'm back to the start with my student loan.
I hope you don't mind me returning, I don't know why I'm so stupid really
