Just checking in with an update.

Last December I pledged to pay off £12,000 but then was thrown off course by the unexpected pregnancy of my 15 yr old DD.

Now the dust has settled (beautiful GS born in April) I have totted up what I have managed to pay or save towards paying and was pleased to see it was £5,697 or 47%. Not too far off target.
  • Helen thats very nice news, and congratulations... taxi i hope the critical illness comes through for you x

Congratulations Helen, on both accounts. I'm sure you are thrilled now that the baby is here!

On another note - dum dum dum! Final payment made to Barclaycard today!! "Technically" debt free today!!!!

"Technically" means that I still have a work loan, but this is at 0% and I can't pay it off any quicker!

    Woooooooo! break out the champagne!

    my usual monthly update:
£8159 of my 15k target which is 54.13%.
I know i won't make the 15k but i do feel that i should exceed the £12k which i though i should pay off during a year.
