When we're debt-free we're going to save like mad for our son's university fees. I so thoroughly disapprove of the way this country has gone, saddling students with massive debt before they've even started thier working lives. It's just wrong. So I want to be able to pay as much as I can for him - when I went to uni I had a mixture of a grant (remember them!) and a little money from my parents. Amazingly I left with only a small overdraft and no other debt. Would like to to be the same for DS. Dream on!0
