BARGAINHUNTER! wrote: »Thank you SO SO much! At least this proves to me that he did receive an anonmous email but it does not prove that he didn't use the site himself to send it to himself. He has sent me a text to say that he can't get onto Facebook anymore and has deleted the email so does not look like I am ever going to get to see actual email that was sent.
Very confusing.
That would automatically make me think that he was behind the whole thing and got a bit scared about possible repercussions after sending it to you.
He therefore is trying to draw a line under it and put it to bed. Maybe something he did while drunk and then sober regrets it?
I can't believe that any innocent person would have deleted it at all.
Hopefully you can forget about it now.0 -
If it was me i would contact the police and just make a report of it just incase anything did come of it in future...0

OMG the plot thickens how VERY freaky indeed!
So the person who sent that email (your ex or another) ...
1. Is not very original and needed to copy some text from another email on that site, not likely IMO.
2. Is in the habbit of sending these things to people. Somebody who has too much time on their hands, is malicious and enjoys causing trouble. Do you know anybody who could fit this profile?
This leads me to think it is just some sad, jealous but probably harmless person. Best to stay clear though just in case is more sinister.
Prob a good idea to keep copies of those mails from that site just in case.
the other email I found on the site appears to have come from a female, but it could have been written that way I suppose. Just to check, I have been through my emails to see if the other email I found had been sent to me and I missed it, but i cannot find anything. If it went into my junk though it would have been deleted by now. So nothing to prove that the other email i found on that site was meant for me. If it was meant for me that would point to someone trying to keep me and my ex apart.MFW 2011 challenge - Aim: Overpay £414.26 a month/£5,000 a year. I would be inclined to text him back and tell him you had reported it to the police, and wait for his reaction0
