I am going to fail so misarably this month, Not even enough days to make the targetMFW on your mark0

:naughty: I will NOT have people saying they have failed on this Challenge; you just had unplanned spends & that happens to everyone at some time or other
So please, let's not get too disheartened..all we can do is pledge to make a conscious effort to do better at whatever we decide to take on whether tis diet, smoking, spending & the like, & be here to support, cajole & harangue our fellow pledgees to do the same

Number 19 today, just one more to squeeze in before the end of the month

I've just completed NSD 17
If it wasnt for the present & extortionate food bill then I reckon Christmas would be the ideal way to achieve more NSDs0 -
Hooooorah I didn't think i was going to make it but I have jsut got NSD number 8, I seem to be finding it easier at the end of the month than the beginning. Lets hope this continues long into the new year

Well said MigMummaF. December is a tricky month for everyone, much too much pressure to spend money. If it weren't for the weather and the fact that I refused to set foot out of the door for the past week, I wouldn't have made my target. To anyone who thinks they have "failed", please read Big Mummas comments above, however many days you have managed, you have achieved something, so well done. Hang on in there for the next challenge and don't lose heart - most of all, keep on posting, that's the best incentive, I've found...The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Well done everyone else this month - December isn't the easiest of months, so any NSDs achieved is a success, even just the act of thinking about a NSD is a step in the right direction - I completely agree with BigMummaF and solventsoon::naughty: I will NOT have people saying they have failed on this Challenge; you just had unplanned spends & that happens to everyone at some time or otherSo please, let's not get too disheartened..all we can do is pledge to make a conscious effort to do better at whatever we decide to take on whether tis diet, smoking, spending & the like, & be here to support, cajole & harangue our fellow pledgees to do the same

Hi everyone, I haven't posted since I pledged nine NSDs from joining you on 14th December until 3rd january (which equalled exactly three weeks). So to bring you up to date, I have five NSDs so far - 18, 20, 24, 25, 26 December. I'm hoping that tomorrow will be another. I am at a playcentre with my kids, but the trip has been funded as we are going with a group.
Today I have to get bread and petrol, so not an NSD.
I don't think I'll reach my target of nine though - maybe a bit too ambititious to start with!
On a more positive note, I have managed to save quite a bit since the beginning of the month, thanks mainly to having £100 in Morrisons stamps top get last week's shopping. I put the shopping money straight into my savings instead.0
