Some good comes from the awful weather we are having as it has been about 6 inches of snow overnight so I am going no-where today, and I cant buy anything on the internet as some lovely git cloned my bank card so today will increase my NSD through no fault of my own!!!! now upto 6 out of 10!!!

Been called into work again :( so bad news :( but at least it will mean another NSD, no temptation etc :) and the money will come in useful in Jan.......Just wish I didn't feel so tired :(
Strangely enough, we were talking about how many essential services have to work over holiday times just this morning. Of course the emergency services & care workers, but I was surprised when there were people manning electricity power stations & such..you just don't think about it do you? Plus I've done retail & customers never consider that YOU may want to get home earlier on 24 or 31 Dec  Why are some folk so bluddin selfish :(

.... will sign up for next months as it makes you think do I need that or not! Usually in the past I would spend something everyday - even just for a can of diet coke so at least it is something more positive than before. Good luck!!
Yup! We warned you how this Challenge becomes so addictive :D I'll begin the new thread in a mo so Watch This Space...or rather one below it

No 10 for me today as still didnt succumb to the sales :) might go and have a look tomorrow though for xmas stuff for next year. not sure whether to wait a bit longer to see if they reduce even further
Not just me then :p To be honest, I've nothing I'm in desperate need of so I'm in no hurry to fight the throngs. It would only be prezzies to stash for later in the year & with things the way they are, I'm thinking my lot might prefer some extra cash instead :o Two of them drive so there's always something to pay out for & the other goes through shoes like nobody's business...

angry-smiley-054.giffor you Suzi. I've written four replies before settling on this one, as it isn't really the place to go off on one confused-smiley-003.gifLet's just say that rusty razor blades & salt water would feature heavily in my correction facilities  :rotfl:

    Hi all,
Another NSD for me, was going to investigate the sales but can't be bothered - I must be getting old!

Thanks for the new thread BigMummaF, have joined up already...

Suzybloo -:mad: to the git who cloned your card - what a pain..

Katholicos - you are so right, I'm looking forward to not spending in January and I can hardly believe I'm saying that either!

Good luck for the rest of the month everyone :D:D

 Just popping in quickly so I don't lose track :)

three nsds in a row for me so I've beaten my target :j going to try for another three before the end of the year, I'm avoiding the sales and resisting buying on the internet by avoiding it too :D

Edited as I went and spent, knew I shouldn't come on the internet! Needed to get myself one of those jigsaw carry cases, got an awesome jigsaw for xmas but nowhere to do it properly and it's eating away at me cos I want to get stuck in :)

  • Xmas day was a nsd day, but we went out to buy a new tv yesterday so spent quite a lot :o. We've needed a new one for ages though and I have even less reason to leave the house now! Today will be a nsd day as well but I think that may be it as we're going away tomorrow for new year so will probably spend every day til January. Good luck to everyone else and I'll see you on the January thread!

    Hello

I know I haven't done very well this month but I have finally managed 3 NSDs in a row which is frankly more than I deserve.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this thread - I have enjoyed reading it and have now got a proper plan for January rather than waiting for NSDs to fall out of the sky!
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.
