Yes - this reminds me of the Hoover Offer as well.

I think Virgin should be more worried about those highly paid marketing people that came up with this bright idea.
LOL I was talking to my OH about the Hoover offer this morning, it reminded me exactly of that!!!

You crack me up! You do realise that there are people out there thinking "oh yeah she gets to go clubbing on benefits, yet has no money, yet I work my butt off and have not had a night out since 1974?":rotfl:

Anyway, humour me, did you pass on the Full names, DOB, Child Benefit numbers, emergency contacts and all known allergies of your school class to Mike from quidco, with pictures? :rotfl:

i cant afford to go clubbing either

Well im out clubbing this saturday you fancy trying that out your welcome to come find me... :p:cool::rolleyes:
I thought you only had £10 left of your JSA?

ever thought of getting a job rather than continually sponging off us taxpayers.

Maybe then you might also find some morals too. Nice result from quidco though :rotfl:

    From Quidco

    Hi all,

We are aware of this loophole and the program has now been suspended. We take any abuse of our merchant's or offers very seriously as it not only undermines the cashback process but also damages the relationships between us, the merchants and the networks.

We will be looking into all accounts that are found to have abused this program and appropriate action will be taken.

    Regards,

    Quidco

  • And for all the dummies who keep thinking that im going to ''lose my £10'' somehow,
how much of a thicko are you??! :rotfl:

I haven't ''risked and lost'' anything you fools!! :rotfl::D:rotfl:

I've SPENT £10 on buying train tickets for dates 2months away!! :p

And so while the companies may try scamming people by NOW RETROSPECTIVELY changing their terms and conditions of the offer,
(after quidco previously went out of its way to explain to people how to make the maximum money when buying multiple tickets, so they cant really take the high moral gorund now! LOL),
but while the companies may now sink to scamming people out of the ''offer'' that they previously promoted to entice people,
they cannot scam people out of getting the ''tickets'' that they paid for!! :D

Not a single fraudlent or illegal thing has been done by purchasing those tickets,
i could have bought 1,000 tickets if i wanted to (and from a purely legal standpoint according to the offer as they described it at the time they legally would owe me £5,000 then).

But even if they now refuse to payout on that offer, the tickets have still been paid for legally, and so will have to be sent to me. :)

And by the current trading standards laws, and according to virgins website's terms and conditions,
i as the customer have the legal authority to return those tickets at any date and time before that train departs, and to get a full refund in return!!
    :rotfl::p:D:T:rolleyes:

So if they refuse to keep to what they ''legally owe'' me,
then i will simply return all those tickets for a refund of their full value like im legally entitled to.

I may get gobby with them for some fun and drama,
or i may just quietly turn up at the station and return all of them without making any comment whatsoever or giving any reason why i chose to buy so many,
as theres no legal clauses barring saying i have to explain my spending habits.

If the tickets you purchased were off peak each ticket is subject to a £10 admin charge, so i would say that you have lost out! Plus if you go to the ticket office and "get gobby" the staff will not stand there and be abused, they will just walk away or call the BTP (ive seen it happen at my train station) (V Trains T&C's)

You also say you are claiming JSA but then you mention that you work in promotions, is that not a form of work?

Dont get paid through the PAYE system or anything so theres no trace of any offical payments or any of that nonsense.
so not only do you intend to scam a company to the tune of £120

your also commmitting benefit fraud ?
