;27273429]Oh dear. Looks like some people are in trouble.
How can they say its abuse though. Nobody did anything fraudulently. Buy a ticket get £5. Quidcos fault for not putting a limit on it. Should have put a limit on 1 per day or something. Or just one ever.
Wonder how many people will get their cashback.
i dont think its abuse either something seems fishy to meReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. Perhaps Martin should check it out, I am sure Quidco would not want to be impersonated.
Seemed like as legitimate a grabbit as most that pop up on this board.
seems legit to me, she posted just as it came up on websiteFirst ever win: Samsung Genio Touch Mobile Phone!!0 -
Jules is the usual Quidco representative and said on a post yesterday that they'd be out of the office for a few days. Then again, I found that out with a quick search, any of the people criticising on here could have done that too. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Ironically the person masquerading as the Abuse@Quidco only post things previously mentioned in the thread as if to give himself an air of authenticity. Their informative post about " the site is now back up with a min spend of £7 " announcment was posted 30min after someone else revealed it.

Well, I've sent Quidco an email apologising for this whole debacle, because I never had any idea it would go as crazy as this...0

There's nothing that needs apologising for. Your thread got caught in the backlash of the bank charges result, that's not your fault.

I agree, Virgin sent the offer to Quidco ... Quidco in turn offered it to its users. Its virgins fault for not stipulating a more specific condition to what it wanted the £5 used for.

Dear User
We have been asked by Virgin Trains to investigate a number of recent transactions, on your account.
To help me to confirm the validity of your transactions and cashback claim and to reach a speedy resolution please could you let me have the following:-
Your Virgin Trains order number, Name of the passenger and appropriate discount cards.
This information is required in order for us to be able to ascertain the validity of your claim for cashback on all of the purchases in question and whether Quidcos terms and conditions have been breached.
In the meantime, until I hear back from you and successfully complete our investigations, your payments will be put on hold. I will keep you informed of my progress in this matter, and hope to resolve it as quickly as possible.
I appreciate your patience and understanding. We work hard to ensure that the terms and conditions put into place by Quidco and its merchants are being adhered to for the benefit of all of our members and for the protection of our merchants, which is why we carry out these investigations.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely, Mark. QuidCare0 -
