sorry but she started it and I'm only posting the facts she herself has posted...if anything I was being constructive in her jobseeking....I have many friends and family members in a similar position to her....and they don't have the chip on their shoulder she appears to have....at the end of the day, posting some of the things she has merits feedback....both good and bad (constructive)....ever hear of Pandoras box?....obviously she hasn't....
bearing in mind Quidco are on MSE and read the boards (easy to do a search) posting some of the things she did trying to make out how she was going to make loads of cash in the way she was, it was only a matter of time before it was caught on...as it happens, other posters have now lost out on genuine purchases of rail tickets....so the moral is....if theres a deal ...take it, spread the word, but don't brandish your outlandish claims in a thread for all and sundry to read....
'nuff said.....

If Quidco/Virgin are stupid enough to set up an offer that gives away free money, you can't really blame people for taking advantage of their stupidity. The only people that annoy me in this sort of situation are people who do these things multiple times - and, of course, those sanctimonious ones that try to lecture us.Thanks to all who post constructively.

oooo get you - am i sanctimonious for pointing out that this abuse has ruined the offer for every body else?
Stupid enough to set it up maybe, but not stupid enough to actually pay it out.
In fact, lots of "moneysavers" have probably just spent 40p for nothing.
And rightly so. I'll stick to being sanctimonious if it means sticking up for cash back sites from which I have had 000's of pounds.
You abuse, we all lose.0 -
It may not be clever on the company’s behalf to have such an offer. But this is a moneysaving website not a money scrounging website. Fine you make a bit of profit from buying pointless train tickets, but when you want to buy real tickets and offers like this are no longer there...who is going to lose out? What goes around comes around and though I can understand why people have done this, it is important to remember that abuse will mean fewer offers which will mean less moneysaving opportunities.First ever win: Samsung Genio Touch Mobile Phone!!0

but you havent lost out because the offer is still avalible on two other cashback sites ive had 000s of pounds from cashback sites too but i always stick to the rules but in the quidco it did say there was no minimum amount to pay or how many you ordered i do agree ordering 24 in one day is a bit extreme but that could be 25 in a 1000 who signed up todayReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. As usual, I missed all the fun. The initial euphoria at finding such a great deal, the rush of adrenalin to get the tickets booked, and of course, the recriminations and bickering when it all ends in tears. Oh well, at least it proves one thing...........
.......there's no such thing as a free ride. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0
