Nope...never buy from the station, for most journeys anyway. You can book in advance with many companies & get a reduced fare.

As for now, if you want a genuine ticket, try Topcashback.

In the meantime, I sit quaking in my boots, wondering if I have abused the system. I'm not concerned too much about the cashback, although it would of course be nice, but more about my poor account. Heyho, we will wait & see. I must say though Quidco are doing the right thing.

i know i didnt i ordered one ticket that im planning on using

Guys please restrain yourselves. As many posters originally pointed out it's only time before these companies find out (especially because of some people abusing the offer). I didn't buy any tickets as these things are never certain.

It will only be a matter of time before topcashbacks suspends this offer too. It's not worth it (especially if you are registering just for this).

    totaly agree with you:T

    your comments are uncalled for

sorry but she started it and I'm only posting the facts she herself has posted...if anything I was being constructive in her jobseeking....I have many friends and family members in a similar position to her....and they don't have the chip on their shoulder she appears to have....at the end of the day, posting some of the things she has merits feedback....both good and bad (constructive)....ever hear of Pandoras box?....obviously she hasn't....

bearing in mind Quidco are on MSE and read the boards (easy to do a search) posting some of the things she did trying to make out how she was going to make loads of cash in the way she was, it was only a matter of time before it was caught on...as it happens, other posters have now lost out on genuine purchases of rail tickets....so the moral is....if theres a deal ...take it, spread the word, but don't brandish your outlandish claims in a thread for all and sundry to read....

    'nuff said.....

    Noooooo!

Anyone who wants to join Topcashback, I can give them a referral link which will pay them £1 for joining.
Yes, I get £1 too, lol, but if anyone wants to join, why not ask here first? I'm sure others on here too would be more than happy to help out on this...moneysavers can help each other. ;)

HUKD is "HotUKDeals.com", a deal site that's a bit like these forums.
Deals get rated in Degrees, based on how hot they are.
All deals start at zero degrees, and get voted down to sub-zero if they suck, or up to 300 or more if they're really good deals...

...but this has only been voted to 20.

....or up to 6000 for the Sainsburys COD MW2 deal. ;)

Sorry but I thought referrals are allowed on this board?

Anyway this thread will be deleted very soon and thumbs up to Quidco for doing the right thing.

  • Hi all,

We are aware of this loophole and the program has now been suspended. We take any abuse of our merchant's or offers very seriously as it not only undermines the cashback process but also damages the relationships between us, the merchants and the networks.

We will be looking into all accounts that are found to have abused this program and appropriate action will be taken.

    Regards,

    Quidco

Are you a genuine representative from Quidco though

I had some doubts but it seems true since the offer is suspended?
