did you know that interviewers can tell a lot about you by your tone when chatting on the telephone and how your use of the written word or inability to communicate without resorting to profanity or childish statements can say even more about a person....

tip for the day....get off your high horse, it shows in your writing and probably comes across in your speech as well...its quite common in some people and usually its demonstrated when they "rise to the bait" always trying to get "the last word" on a topic...but we'll see what transpires

Does anyone have a screen dump of the original offer by any chance. Please pm me it if you do. Thanks.

    Hi,

Just a further update to my previous message.

The merchant is now live again and the cashback on offer is £5 for a order value of at least £7. I am sorry we have not used the official Quidco log in to post this message but Jules is out of the office today and we felt it was important to post regarding this as soon as possible.

    Kind Regards,

    Quidco

what about those that spent less than £7 before the change??

  • Now that the offer has changed to bookings over £7.00, I imagine they flagged up the mis-use quite quickly, do we think they will honour those that have already bought? I doubt those who abused the offer in the hopes to make a fortune will be honoured for obvious reasons, is there a clause that says they have the right to change this offer at anytime? I bought two tickets so not bothered either way just wondering if anyone had heard anything more?

  • Hi all,

We are aware of this loophole and the program has now been suspended. We take any abuse of our merchant's or offers very seriously as it not only undermines the cashback process but also damages the relationships between us, the merchants and the networks.

We will be looking into all accounts that are found to have abused this program and appropriate action will be taken.

    Regards,

    Quidco

Oh dear. Looks like some people are in trouble.

How can they say its abuse though. Nobody did anything fraudulently. Buy a ticket get £5. Quidcos fault for not putting a limit on it. Should have put a limit on 1 per day or something. Or just one ever.

Wonder how many people will get their cashback.

yeah that's what i was thinking.

But I think overall we are both partly responsible for this (those who took up the offer and Quidco)... In retrospect I probably shouldn't have ordered a couple of 40p tickets on the off chance i could make a few quid  silly me lol
I think Quidco should just cancel the cashback for anyone's ticket purchase that was under a pound or two (please don't shoot me down for this, its just my opinion ;) )

But whose to say that Abuse team at Quidco is genuine. Does Jules exist????

Perhaps Martin should check it out, I am sure Quidco would not want to be impersonated.

Seemed like as legitimate a grabbit as most that pop up on this board.
