I have the meat out of the freezer for tonight's dinner so I don't get tempted by nothing to eat later, although my tooth seems to be restricting me a lot at the mo.

The filling I lost isn't bugging me but there was a filling next to it and my tongue keeps catching it so I think that will come out soon and that will probably hurt. I tried eating on the other side and a pain shot through another tooth. I wouldn;t worry but all these pains and problems are from teeth that got fixed last year. So I have to go back to the chair of pain to pay! again for him to re fill the teeth. It's not fair.

I'm going to be carless this coming week so can't go to dentist this week. OH has my car as his is going to my brother's for the week to be fixed and MOT'd. Have to live with the sacrifice as it will be cheaper than putting it in the garage.

There's always something. I did get a cheque this morning for an ebay sale so that will get paid in on Monday and a couple of bits are selling tomorrow night.
Roll on February although I am quite proud of the monetary challenges I have overcome so far in January.

You seem to be doing well on the meal planning. WE did quite well last week with it.

There is always something that needs paying for isn't there. Cars are the worst culprits too!

As long as I am organised in the morning then I seem to do OK. Need to go to the shop this mornng and get some shopping done as we are running low.

This year so far has chucked loads of money requirements at me but so far I have managed it, so staying positive really helps. Feel so much better than yesterday too. Managed to eat last night so will have to see how it goes.
  • Hi Yukki

Just been catching up on your diary, hope the teeth aren't bothering you too much today. Well done on the ebay sales, you've just motivated me to get up off my backside and go take pics of the pile of ebay stuff we have gathered together. Thanks Yukki!

I'm glad I'm motivating someone else. Not feeling very motivated myself today, too cold and a stroppy teenager and a stroppy toddler, all wanting their own way. Wha about me getting my own way ;)

I have eaten okish today, and am having soup for dinner. Could do with losing a couple of pounds too lol so as long as I am having good for me things then reducing the portions and no snacking on crap will do me good.

Got a couple of bids on ebay ending in a couple of hours and am hoping they will go up a bit.

We went to sign our wills today and the price had increased  despite the solicitor saying it was going to be a straightforward will for the standard price. We have queried it and she has said she'll speak to her boss so we'll see when the invoice comes in. Still it needs doing, despite being annoying.

OH's car is being fixed this week so we wont know how much that's going to cost until we get a call, am really hoping it's not too much.

I'm going to have to get a dentist appt asap as another tooth is playing up no (do they put a lifepsan on all work nhs dentists do or something) as it's all teeth that I had fixed last year that are playing up.

Made four portions of soup this morning, so three are for the freezer and I had one for lunch.

Sorry to hear about your poor teeth! Are they the silver fillings from NHS? Ive found the silver ones to be rubbish, ive got 2 white ones that have been in for years no problems. I also have 2 silver ones that ive needed replacing more than once.

Fingers crossed the car wont cost too much to fix.

I think they are white ones, they were only done last year!
