The chilli was lovely, I will def be making it again, and it was so filling which is great in this weather.

I sold four items last night on ebay so need to walk to the post office this morning to post them. (hope it's open)

I took the day off work today as dd2 had a hospital appt, and it was a gd back up in case nursery was closed as well, but the roads are too bad so cancelled the appt, and nursery is open as usual! So I have the day to myself which is great, but musn't sit on my backside on here all day.

Made a booboo with the roofers cheque. I wrote a cheque from my loan account and didn;t realise, so whilst I have paid it straight back this morning, I'll be there will be some interest for using the acc next month which will be annoying.

Anyhow off I go for a nice long cold walk.

Hope the post office is open for you.
Shame about that cheque. Despite all my careful work I managed to get charges for going overdrawn last week when I paid a bill with the card for the wrong account! I get very annoyed with myself sometimes!

I walked out of the front gate and slipped so decided it might be safer to go in the car. Our main roads are fine, just the carpark I had to park in was a sheet of ice and the side roads. My poor car had ice blocks on the windscreen. Still it's a job done and the parcels have gone.

I found the cheque book and I did it again for something for dd1's school. So when they cash that I'll have interest added (hopefully they do it in the same month now and it'll be one lot of interest not too).
I didn't actually realise I had a cheque book for my loan account, so that and the paying in book for it has been put together out of the way so I don't make that mistake again.

That is really annoying you wrote the cheque from the wrong account, hate it when stuff like that happens.

I think most of us are getting fed with with this weather, it isn't bad at all here but it must be a pain for people.

In the grand scheme of things it's not bad here, we just have the ice to contend with rather than the snow.

Still today I have been fairly productive, got more listings ready for ebay, uploaded a couple of BIN's and sold a BIN at lunch time, but I'm not going back to the post office today.

Also lost a filling this morning, thankfully it's not bothering me and wont be going to the dentist until the weather thaws so it better not bother me until then.

Well done on all the ebay sales you've had!

Hope your tooth will be alright until you can get to the dentist, you will have to do lots of one sided drinking and eating! lol

I really should make an effort and get round to selling things on ebay rather than giving them away!.....I seem to have said that a lot last year!!

    Well done on your sales

Jellie it' surprising how selling a few little bits can let you withdraw a large sum from paypal to help with the debts etc.

    Thanks Maria, gonna be fun!

What kind of things do you sell? My main worry is that I'll make so little money it won't be worth it!

Mainly clothes I don't want any more, dd2's old clothes she has grown out of and her toys that she's grown out of.

I nearly wavered and asked OH to grab fish and chips on the way home. We can't really afford it, so I made myself think of what was in the freezer and made a meal so I know what I'm cooking now. I have to plan ahead for this to work for me.
