Thanks DFSD, thankfully it was better than I thought it was going to be. I have an infection in my wisdom tooth which is better than an abscess, so no work required today and he gave me some antibiotics so should be feeling back to normal in a couple of days.

I never realised a tooth infection could make you feel as though you have flu. Just have to go back next week for two fillings which I can cope with.

I only paid for a check up today and not sure why but soetimes the money doesn;t matter, the pain was too bad to ignore, and I had read that abscesses could be life threatening if left etc so wasn;t prepared to take that risk.

Glad you now know what the problem is. I hope the antibiotics kick in soon. Pretty much ant infection can give you a fever making you feel pretty rubbish!

Thanks Jellie, I didn't know that before, will know for future. (I was trying to convince myself it wasn't my tooth, but flu or something lol, that's how much I hate the dentist), but glad I went.

    Hope you're ok btw.

You must be really happy the dentist didn't need to anything more than give you medicine then! I bet you're relieved!

I am but I have to go back in 10 days for two fillings. TBH I'll run wit it as I'm getting tired of this pain and feeling rubbish now.

I had to parcel up three parcels tonight and I couldn't be bothered. I've done it though as I wont want to do it in the morning before OH goes to work.
  • Sorry to hear your feeling rough Yuk, i remember when i had my infection, i felt awful and my face ballooned. Hope it all goes well at the dentists. I'm another who hates dentists, they scare me!

Bleugh, still feeling really tired and have pain in the tooth, which is becoming manageable so I know the antibiotics are doing something.

I feel like this is the diary of misery at the mo lol, so not what I expected of 2010.

Last night I was looking at booking a holiday. I feel we all need a break, but we can't afford everything so something will have to give somewhere, need to have serious thinks and talks I think soon.

Glad your tooth is starting to ease off a bit, it's the worst thing ever having toothache.
Re your holiday, if anyone can squirrel away you can y_b! Just think how well you did in your last diary getting shot of your car loan. I can sense these passports will be getting renewed pretty soon!

Thanks Primula, I thinkwe're going to get the passports done anyway "just in case" as then it wont be an excuse not to go (we're very good at that)

Back at work today and everyone was really kind and insisted that they didn't want me to do any extra to make up for them covering me over the weekend which is lovely.

I also bought myself a life diary and a notepad tonight (read about the site in martin's email), as I want a new notepad. My little treat.
