Hi, I can't see the comment you left on Trading Standards regarding BGPS Ltd - can you let me know please what it was about them why they suddenly closed that company and opened under another?

You might be unlucky in getting a reply from Roses.

If your unsure why not phone them and say you have changed your mind.

Go for another builder.

Avoid this builder


I've lived in my house for 7 months. Snagging is still not done (constant broken promises) and shared areas (it's a development of 3 homes) are not complete and the builder won't give me firm dates when they might be.

Even trades that subcontract for Burr Living can't stand the owner (Carl Burrows) and say he's an unreliable payer.

On Companies House he has the following Directorships:

I've responded to your private message with more detail but in order ton answer the question:

The comment on the Trading Standards was against the BGPS trading name. Once TS agreed the comment was valid BGPS cancelled their membership so their details and my comment were not available to view.

This couldn't possible be the same Gaz Hendo or Gary Henderson who is now in partnership with Mark Fittes at a new limited company called Bowmont Home Improvements Limited as recorded on the Companies House Beta Website and also uses the name 'Bowmont Insulated Conservatory Roofs'.

Bowmont Home Improvements Limited having the same address as 'Pay As You Glow Limited', also run by a Gary Henderson, which was recently made the subject of a compulsory winding up order by the High Court.

Whilst a similar sounding Gary Henderson also has a company registered in the name of 'Glow Heating Limited' with a well known London post office forwarding address at 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU used bu numerous companies, and the same address in Sunderland as the former company 'Pay as You Glow'.

Whilst the same address in Ponteland as 'Bowmont Home Improvements' companies house registered addressis used on the new 'Glow Heating and Bathrooms Website'. However the operationaal address for 'Bowmont Home Improvements' or 'Bowmont Insulated Conservatory Roofs' is at a Garden Centre in Wansbeck in Northumberland. Whilst a new website which is virtualy the same as Bowmont Home Improvements and which pictures many of the same suppposed jobs, quotes and praise from customers has also appeared under the name Henderson Home Improvements (Limited),even the Bowmont hoardings are visible in the pictures and again the same Ponteland address is used as in Gary Hendersons other companies.

That must have been some job Mark Fittes did for you Gary or should I say Gaz, for you to decide to go in to partnership with him and to give him such a glowing endorsement.

As for Mr Fittes he has in fact just come out of personal bankrutcy for a second time and has also had numerous limited companies in the past such as BSG Limited which was also the subject of a compulsory winding up order by the High Court and WeatherAll (North East) Limited once again struck off without paying it's debts.

Indeed you can go all the way back to the 1990's with WeatherAll Limited, North East Building Solutions, North East Building Services, BSG Limited and WeatheAll (North East) Limited and many other companies of Mr Fittes that have left debts or resulted in his bankruptcy.

Obviously Mr Fittes seems to have a lot of problems when it comes to business and indeed when it comes to trading fairly, and you can see some of Mr Fittes and indeed Mr Hendersons information on sites such as companies house beta website and the London Gazette.

I also advise anyone reading this to be very careful when it comes to paying any money up front or deposits, indeed do not pay a penny until you have the corrent materials and the job is carried out to your satisfaction, especially when it comes to companies with limited liability and people with a known track record of bankruptcy and liquidation.

Thanks you for your reply. I have now cut all ties to Mr Fittes and applied to companies house for Bowmont Home improvements to be struck off. I thank you for your comments and advice

Hi ,interesting to read your Thread on Mark Fittes,wished we had of looked him up first as we have paid him a deposit,but now want to cancel the contract after reading reviews so we dont waste anymore Money, I woud be grateful for anymore info you could give us.
