So the people I have my DDs with are lying then?

I don't know about lying, but I have a number of SOs on my current account.
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

Crikey...£3,000 over 9 years... surely when she saw that the bank was debiting before crediting she would change the days when the money came out/in to ensure the credit was avalaible? did it take 9 years to do this?
No money? Yet a rack of DVD's behind her? and IPOD docking station and a nice home.
Great advert for Benefits... my heart bleeds.

She could miss a lot of meals and save a few quid that way, too (-:

What's the alternative??? My employer can't pay me cash, they're 200 miles away from me. It would be impossible for me to go to all my creditors and pay my bills with cash they're all over the country. I have no choice!!!

I didn't say you had a choice; I inferred that for you to suggest that it was an infringement of your human rights was ludicrous.

if you don't like the bank you could withdraw your pay in payday and work without the bank for the rest of the week/month.

I'm a big fan of martin lewis but this website seems to have built up people's hopes unnecessarily. I think speeding tickets are unfair, they don't cost £60 to administer and i don't know that i was speeding. Parking tickets are unfair. Excess baggage charged at airports is unfair. Subsidising the unemployed is unfair.

Life ain't fair and sometimes we have to accept it ain't fair.

  • Has it, that was quick, its only weeks since i read they where getting more:confused:

Is someone telling porkies again in the press:rolleyes:

Not sure what you read about a few weeks ago but apparently those particular loans were repaid in January.
  • How does the ruling affect hardship cases?

That thought crossed my mind, but I felt bad for thinking it :o

But I will say those roses she was using aren't cheap either :D
  • How does the ruling affect hardship cases?

I would presume that they will not be repaying any monies whatsoever now that they have won the case.
