All JUGS are for sale, if the price is right.....;)“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

Then if it involves time and tenacity, what is the difference between doing that and .. . well . . getting a job?
It's easy to make money by working, but the point of an investment is to make your money work for you, not the other way round, isn't it?
My comeback for your calling me an idiot is basically what debbie42 has already said.
I also like your statement "it's easy to make money by working", you don't feel atleast a little dickish seeing as unemployment is so high?
On topic, I saw this article in the paper this week and thought of the OP seeing how he wants to invest rather than gamble his money:

Not really, given that the employment rate for those wanting to work is currently a very healthy 92%.
My point is simple. If it needs a lot of attention and tenacity, matched betting actually involves work, maintenance and monitoring.
I am currently invested heavily in a range of managed funds across a range of assets. It involved no work at all, except now and again (perhaps quarterly) checking the values and deciding if I want to click a few buttons and move into different funds.0
