Will get him an Xbox 360 game nearer Christmas (one the the special offer ones or a second-hand one)

Still got 2 brother to get (though they provide lists) and more problematic is 2 16 year old nephews. Do not want to get them vouchers as it's a lot of money for not much but not sure what to get them. Don't want to be an "uncool" auntie. :D

OMG - I feel really tight now - I have set a budget of £10 each for everyone this Christmas - and I have spent £9.97 on OH! (42)

He has got a box set of books (reduced in Asda from £5 to £1)
Some quality car cleaning cloths (reduced to £2)
A miniature bottle of scotch in a tin from M&S (reduced, obviously!!)
A big box of tea bags (He is addicted to tea!)
    A road atlas
    and some other little bits.

Dad (60) is getting a big bag of wild bird food from Focus (£9.95) - he has everything he wants, and loves watching the birds in the garden

Brother (35) is getting some business cards

Brother in Law (45) is getting joint presents with my sister - but his individual present will include alcohol...!!

    Am I a skinflint????
Why does nobody say Thank You anymore??

I forgot to add I have got my OH a Quick Chinese cook book from The book people £4.99, as we are all fed up with spag bol and he is a great cook but lacks insperation and we all love Chinese.

Im still looking for something to go with it lol.

Why not make a hamper to go with it- including rice bowls, cheap chopsticks, chopstick rests, perforated spoon, chefs hat, apron etc?

You should be able to do this hamper comfortably for around a tenner, maybe even less?
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

No you are sensible!!! you will still have money after christmas whilst the rest of us will be wondering why we spent so much money :rotfl:

If it makes you feel any better for each member of my family we have a budget of £15 .... but for BIL I bought a ted baker wash set off a friend for £2.50 then made him a pot of gold so his only cost me £4.50 but has a RRP of £20 ;)

Don't feel bad, its good honestly!

What sort of budget do you have? Have you thought about buying him a blu ray dvd? he can play these in his ps3 (sorry if you knew this already but most people forget!) Or you could get him some kind of stand charger for his controller? Or you could get him a game gift voucher?

Thanks RustyFlange (what a great name!!) - traditionally, I have gone over the top at Christmas - but as I am desperately trying to pay my way out of debts, I just thought it was ridiculous!!
    We've had an expensive year, with my sisters' 40th, Dad's 60th and Niece's 21st - all within 6 weeks!
I made the executive decision to stick to £10 each and I am really proud that I have done!!

    Apparently it does everything :)
