    Nice thread to be resurrected.
I've not bought anything yet but I'm going to get my oh a word art picture of a golfer with all words that mean things in it, I want to get a large one and get it framed for him. My two sons get money as they're always skint, I've got two boy grandbrats and two boy step grandbrats and I've no idea what to get them.
  • So far I have got my other half:
a Police watch from an Amazon Lightning deal
    Some aftershave
A bargain T shirt from the Asos sale
An egg poacher (random but it's his new favourite food!)
A whisky tasting set from Flaviar which I got £15 off so was £14.99 instead of £29.99 (If anyone wants to use my referral link it's flaviar.com/i/ODAyNjY0ZkwqUzUj which will also give me a credit - add your item to basket and the £10 will be deducted automatically in your basket BUT if you register first, you will be emailed a short questionnaire which then gives you another £5 off on top of the £10 so hold on a bit and don't order before you get the email or you'll miss out on extra discount!)

Will also need to get a small gift from the children, I'm thinking probably a cheap Quadcopter - any recommendations will be welcome!
  • Dh is a typical nightmare of a man to buy for (if he wants something, he goes out and buys it)!

This year, he has actually asked for a battery operated old style fm radio - for his workshop, so he is getting that.

    I have also got him:
A mechanics crawler (cos I'm fed up of him ripping his back pockets as he wriggles underneath the car)
Heated car seat for his work van
Kimi Raikkonon quote tshirt (as he is forever using the quote himself!)
    A funny tshirt from dd's

    His stocking has:
    Mechanics led inspection mirror
    Magnetic pick up tool
    Jurassic world dvd

Will also find a crime novel he doesnt yet have, and add some sweets and chocolates.

We budget to spend £75 on each other, and so far I have £38 left so should come in under budget.
It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.

I have lots of family members etc who are male to buy for!

OH has a Ben Sherman watch and a Cotton Traders rugby polo shirt. He's also getting a £50 B&Q voucher and the Leicester Tigers calendar. Our budget for each other is £100.

Dad has a Brut shower gel and spray set, £4 from Superdrug. He will also have a £15 Amazon gift card and a litre of whisky.

BIL has a Canterbury toiletry set from M&S.
Nephews (age 17 and 14) are getting Jack Wills shower gel and spray sets from Boots (3 for 2- step niece is getting the ladies' Jack Wills body sprays as well) this is because I have absolutely no idea what else to buy them...!!!

Also getting some Jack Daniels special reserve and a tub of M&S mini chocolate brownies for the rugby player I sponsor.

I don't really do smaller gifts mainly because the big ones stress me out so much... OH's watch nearly finished me off entirely :D

Love this thread! Great one to resurrect!

For my husband I have bought:
    Leather cufflink holder box
    Two jumpers
    Protein cookbook
    Aftershave
Crossbow (one of the toy ones that fires rubber darts at a target)

    And for his stocking:
    Peppermint creams
    Sugar mice
    Chocolate coins
    Mindfulness colouring book and pencils
  • Not doing terribly well for Hubby this year....
Star Wars socks - Primark £6
Airfix model - home bargains £5.99
    And that's it!
A north face hoody is on his wish list though, so I'll look in Cotswolds rock bottom for that.
I normally end up getting him a couple of professional cookery books but this year he has bought so many I think I'll scrap that idea (he's a chef)

    for my other half
I'm actually buying him a rose gold ring this year. It's something we saw together ages ago and both loved!

    Other than that:
A few 'mens' colouring books (he saw me colouring in my adult ones and loved the idea/got jealous!!)
A set of super hot sauces
    General choccies for his stocking
    A posh pen
A cheese knife set (his idea.. not mine)
and some socks for this stocking.

I've still a few stocking bits to get but otherwise done!

    Dad
He's getting a toastie grill thingie... currently on sale in lidl. I was discussing my brothers present with him and showed him the Lidl one. He loved it for himself better!

    Brother
    A different toastie maker ;)
