I noticed that there are a few threads asking for ideas. So how about starting one for what we have bought for our partners/hubbies etc etc so that it might give others some ideas.
My hubby is football mad. We had a limit of £50 as we are very skint this year. I have made everyone some presents, but i still had to but him some stuff. SO i have get the below:-
Shoot Annual - £3.96. I buy him one every year.
Pixarpedia - £14.28. Its about how they made the Pixar films. Hubby loves Finding Nemo, Toy Story etc etc
Coin Counting Money Jar - £7.83
I Before E, Except after C - £4.99. Hubby is a teacher and would love reading this.
Leather Braclet - £8 off Ebay
Football T-shirt for his fave team (like a normal printed t-shirt, not a football replica shirt) - £12
Fifa World Football Records 2010 - £9.49
So, i think i'm at the total at the moment.
What have your bought/planning to buy for the men in your life. You never know, you might just save someone some hair pulling when all they say when asked what they want is "i dont know" gggrrr. :rotfl:
PS - i had found all the links to the above items, but i'm not allowed to post links yet.
I've done oh a box this year with wine inside, some smellies, a best hubby coaster, and some truffles.
I have bought some jogging bottoms and a sweatshirt and some brut aftershave and also a 2010 roadmap of Britain.
I am going to pay for us to go out in the New Year and also maybe have some new bits for the kitchen.
One year we put some money to some nights out and that was a good idea. I dont think you need too many presents tbh. Especially if you are having to think really hard what to buy!
We decided a few things to unwrap and see what we want/need in the New Year.:footie:0 -
i put some stuff in a shoebox and put a bow on top and two pictures from Xmas cards. Its the first time ive done a box for oh!:footie:0

Haven't really wrote down all that i have bought for my BF and its so much i can't remember everything, but a few things are:
Air-fix model kits of planes
Board games
PC games
DVDs
CDs
Chocolates
A years TM Pro (online football manager game we both play)
Home made vouchers - IOUs from me etc
All his fav things as well.
And a multitude of other things as well. If i remember anything in particular I'll edit it in here.
Oh last week i went to HMV and got him the first season part 1+2 of CSI New York (he's already got the whole of Las Vegas one)
Saw on TV the other night they have a box set seasons 1-5 So i took the other two back and bought him the whole box set. The single box sets are at the moment £10 each. The whole big box set is £60 but as he would be collecting them all it saves a bit of money in the long run and his eyes will light up when he sees it, as he thinks he's only got the first season.
My step-dad however is a bit harder to buy for. But up to now (still have stuff to get) i have bought for him:
Beers
Kitchen gadget stuff
-Was going to get a digital photo frame but not sure at the moment
-Going to get him the latest Football DVDs when we go to the game at weekend
Putting together a -make your own ginger ale kit- last year he got a brew your own beer one but now he's on this.
Dark chocs
Home made vouchers as well (cooking, wash his car etc)
Some DVDs he wantedEverybody Wants To be Happy.......Nobody Wants Any pain......But You Can't Have a Rainbow........Without Any Rain !!
♥ ...................♥................... ♥ ♥................... ♥.................... ♥
I refuse to believe the sky is the limit........ When there are footsteps on the moon.0 -

Many thanks0 -
Whoops! -Just realised this is an old thread0

Me and hubby tend to go mad on each other as we don't have children but will have to rein it in this year. He's so easy to buy for it's knowing when to stop!
On my list to get is -
Bottle of his favourite whisky
FCUK boots set
Nando's hot sauces
Nando's vouchers
Sons of anarchy t-shirt
Primark jumper
xbox game
Chocolate bits
and a few other stocking fillers.
That will probably be about it this year.0 -
Yes an old thread but a great one at that and some fab ideas on here. I really struggle for stocking bits for DS who is 16 so any ideas gratefully received.0

This is a brilliant thread, I look forward to reading it thoroughly later for needed Christmas and birthday gifts for my OH.
I managed to find two GC Homme miniature shower sets (shower gel, aftershave and wash scrunchie) on sale in our local garden centre, funny place to find them but they have a whole range of candles, trinkets and other things for the home.
The GC Homme boxes were originally £6.99 each but with 50% off, so as good as BOGOF!
Thats my bfs uncle and brother in law sorted lol.
Also from QVC for £25 we found a mini car racing set for my bfs nephews, comes with two cars so they can play together
Also pretty sure my mum is planning to kit my OH out with a new fleecy dressing gown and a pair of slippers - only problem is he's 6"3 and has size 12 feet....oh well M&S here we come LOL0
