I've got a 54 mini cooper convertible owned from new
Never had a problem with it, passed all it's mot's.
I've never owned a car this long - 5 years!
I am selling it now but it's a great car it's just time to move on!
As for the hood, i've just used normal shampoo on it. Don't open and close it wet. That's it!

Either the k10 or k11, both look miles better than a Daihatsu cuore.
