Buy a CC with a fold down hard top for a roof and not a tent.

    Don't do it:money:

    Ok too late,

Minis can be great fun. That's the good news,,
The rest is not so good. I hope you can take this as practical advise and not critiscism.

The mini is simply the most impossible car to keep alive. The technology of the monocoque was great, but they failed to insure the integrety of the chassis over a typical 8 year lifespan:confused:It is a fact they rotted at a rate beyond belief due to the inbuilt water traps and lack of drainage and cavity protection.

I posted a piece on what happens to you in a crash in a mini a few weeks ago in a post, for now let me assure you the mini offers less than the minimum protection to the cars occupants. Remember Marc Bolan???

This is negative, but so is the mini in this day and age, sorry, get ris and get fun plus some safety:money::T:T
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

    I do, but isn't that like comparing a Princess to a modern 5 series?

My mistake guys, phew, I was fearing for the op. I did have a very nasty exp in a not so old, old mini, hence the Marc Bolan comment
