Why not call them and ask. And then ask how they are connected with UKPC
Edit: I know it's just another forum, so take it with a pinch of salt but...

Is this a wind-up?
If you look here you will see that that website clearly belongs to Euro Car Parks and contains the telephone number shown on the Tesco signs. This is a private parking company which I don't think is owned by Tesco. I have never mentioned UKPC so why bring up that red herring? What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Some Tesco car parks must be operated by Euro Car Parks, while others must be operated by UKPC.0

Tesco use different third party companies to police some of their car parks.
Euro Car Parks is one such company and UKPC is another. There may be others. They all work on behalf of Tesco (when patrolling Tesco car parks)
The number is a Tesco parking helpline, as is the address that you can also write to if you wish to appeal that way."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Yes, I doubt if Tesco actually directly control any of their car parks. They would have to set up a dedicated department, employ "parking attendants" have an office to take payments, go through all the rigmarole of applyin to the DVLA etc. Much easier to farm it all out to an established PPC.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

So why is that number appearing on the Euro Car Parks website and not on one owned by Tesco? What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

Or use their own (presumabaly automated) cameras as in the the site I took the picture of the sign in

But who then actually deals with the parking "infringements"? Tesco or the PPC? Just having some CCTV cameras without the rest of the PPC infrastructure is completely useless. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

You asked previously if this is a wind up.
I think I know the answer to that one now.
Think about it in connection with the replies posted."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100
