Those posts have made me cry (I blame the hormones
). Thanks Weezl (although I'll actually read them properly tomorrow, got the soup on but that's me for today)

Ah Courgette, I remember the food issue very well..I couldn't face meat and had to send OH out if he was eating tuna because of the smell.
For my pregnancies all I could face was fruit, prawns and homemade soup. OH managed his and the little ones meals; good job reallyMortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
sorry to make you cry courgette
. Although I know how you feel.:)
I cried at someone's avatar on here the other day!:rotfl:
ISOM it would indeedy be good to catch up. I figured you were hibernating and didn't like to bother you.
Tax wise I think I now owe £640 but the screens haven't updated so I'm not sure
will check HMRC again today.
Trying to frugally baby-proof the study/playroom is my current challenge.
Fergus and I spend much of our day in here, and whilst he used to be very happy with his baby gym and many brightly coloured plastic toys, he now feels far too mature to play with these and has discovered more grown up activities including:
- biting through ethernet cable,
- pulling self up to standing whilst hanging off the cord of a pully blind.
- opening and investigating the contents of my sewing/craft box
- including being dextrous enough to take the lid of a packet of pins :D
- 4 times yesterday he switched the PC off without me saving my work or parking the heads!
The whole room is a minefield! At the moment the word 'no' is given a fond smile, a pat and a blithe ignoring by fergie. And removing him from a part of the room where things are dangerous results in an increased desire to play with it!
food challenge-wise. Have hit a slightly frustrating standstill. I ordered from approved foods 10 days ago, but no joy yet. Because it said 2-3 working days on the website and I was a wee bit optimistic about the snow not grinding the whole of the UK to a halt, I've got a bit stuck! It feels daft to go out and get anything, because then the order will come and we'll be inundated.... But life as a perpetual store cupboard challenge is a bit tricky, especially for the variety loving Mr Weezl!
I even said he should get a takeaway yesterday cos I felt he'd not had much nice food. He-lovely man, decided he'd rather eat my boring tomato chilli couscous and give the takeaway money to the charities in Haiti. Awwwwww :T:cool:.
Love to you all,
Weezl x

Just popped back again, to say that I've come across your weetabix cake (via Mark's thread) and will be giving it a whirl this weekend! Sounds delicious. However, as I have just signed up with Weightwatchers on-line (via Topcashback its cost-neutral for the first 3x months) perhaps I should work out the points value first :rotfl:
QB
Hi QB, Just wanted to say that BOB has tried a version with half the sugar which met with good reviews from a hoard of teenagers she was feedingso that might make it even lower in points?
BOB can you tell us more so QB doesn't think I made it up!;)

Think I've said before that during all three bumps, I would drink gallons of soda water & the occasional neat peppermint cordial to help with things like 'morning' sickness & indigestion. At the time I could only get them from the off-licence so as I became obviously pregnant, I would get some accusatory glances as I came out--particularly as I could easily get through three or four pub-sized soda syphons a week :rotfl:
We've now got a sod@ stream [although it's a bind finding the bottle refills now ] & there's always peppermint in the cupboard for those times when our tums feel a bit 'iffy'.
On the couscous; I often cook up mixed veg & add the plain stuff at the end, after I've turned the heat off, then Pup will have that with his meal & I'll try to nab some too
We--Pup & I--like it with a tin of sardines stirred through or just grated cheese, & I do the same with pasta.

Awwww I hope you feel better soon. Rest as much as you can, snack regularly and try to remember it's usually only a 1st trimester thing

Blimey, reading this takes me back to my pregnancy......morning sickness! Pah! I had 9 months of permanent sickness and heightened sense of smell; couldn't walk outside my office without feeling queasy as the smell of the McD*nalds opposite was repulsive, couldn't walk through certain aisles of the supermarkets, couldn't stand in my kitchen as I was sure the drains were blocked, lol........Happy days!
In my opinion, if you're feeling gruesome and only fancy X or Y, then go ahead and have it, no matter how much it costs, as you/bump need it and be thankful that you can get it down you
I was addicted to scones with nothing on, just straight from the packet and spaghetti with olive oil. I got through pounds of spaghetti but was sure it wasn't a craving, just that I fancied it "for a change". ex would say, but this is the 8th day in a row you've fancied it, I think you can call it a craving........
To all mummies to be, hope you're loving every second of being pregnant, hugs from a mummy who would love to meet someone who could be a daddy to a future number 2, I'd go through it all again if I could xx0
