Hiya KH, thanks that's brilliant. We did/do use reusables with Fergie, but I have lapsed a little of late because he is on medication which makes his poo super liquid and it escapes worse in a reusable
;).
What kind of reusables have you got? If you're using terry squares, you can fold in different ways to deal with different, erm, circumstances. There are certain folds which allow you to roll the edges at the legs inwards - I've a pdf somewhere with a load of different folds on it - ping me if you'd like a copy.0 -
glad the grub arrived weezl - I know you're endlessly inventive with food but even your powers must have been waning! sudocreme on toast anyone?
are you glad with what you ordered? I keep looking at approved foods, but don't think there's enough stuff on there that I would actually use to justify an order.weaving through the chaos...0 -

I think that's a good point phizzimum, there's a lot of quite processed stuff. Because of me being pregnant and for the first month after Kester comes, I'm afraid quite a few of our meals will likely be packety, so the flavoured couscous and savoury rice will come in very handy. In general I wonder if there will be enough to warrant an order but maybe I'll be able to split the order with friends and neighbours?
MMMMMMMMmmmnnn sudo on toast, sounds nice

Hello
Weezl - i had a few bits missing from order and an e mail resulted in a quick refund they are quite good that way. Nice to see a family firm doing well in a recession
lot of people mentioning tyhe Junky nature of their products but i have so far only bought drinks ,pulses, veggies and a few packets of stuff like couscous and rice etc as well as bread mix and veggie sausage/nut roast type stuff. i think crisps are cheaper elsewhere and chocolate in bulk is just a bit too dangerous here!!*****

Yep! this just happened to me as well, and I think they have been pretty generous with the refund too! I was meant to get 15 packs of lemon and coriander couscous, but they sent 12, but have refunded me the lot, very kind
prompt and very apologetic email too-great stuff :T:D

After a lengthy discussion with my boss, brother and work colleague regarding pensions/mortgages/savings etc the general consensus is that we'd be better off trying to pay the mortgage off early.
I'm inclined to agree; if we plough all of our money into paying off our mortgage and succeed (in 5 years according to calculations), should our situation change (due to kids or whatnot) then at least it's one less financial worry for us to think about and we've a guaranteed roof over our heads plus the ability to put what would be the minimum monthly mortgage payment into a pension fund (more than we can afford now). However if we start paying into pensions now it means we would have to continue paying the mortgage at the normal monthly payment. Should our financial situation change it would mean we'd still have the mortgage to pay AND it would mean we'd have to stop paying into/lower our pension payments.
I'm more on the side of getting the mortgage paid off. What's everyone's opinion?
Mortgage THEN pension, or a little of both now?0 -
Personally if you can clear the mortgage in 5 years I would do that first - assuming you are still young enough not to need a pension shortly

LOL. I'm hoping I don't fall pregnant any time soon (despite claiming that we're "trying"), I rather enjoy the whatnot.0
