    thanks shaz :)

We're in the zone now where it's 1% charged on any overpayment above your 10% allowance. They think I've overpaid by nearly £3500 so are debiting me £35, but I am fighting back!

This is in the last year of a 5 year fix. ERC would have been 5% in yr 1, 4% in year 2 and so on. It'll be in your product details or you can ring and ask...?

Tax looking a bit better now, I have made some tweaks with the help of the techie guys on the phone at HMRC, and now owe £625, just gotta shave off that last £100 :)

I am very glad I am a SAHM with a patient baby, I have been on hold and the phone to HMRC and Halifax for nearly 3 and a half hrs today

  • Just popped back again, to say that I've come across your weetabix cake (via Mark's thread) and will be giving it a whirl this weekend! Sounds delicious. However, as I have just signed up with Weightwatchers on-line (via Topcashback its cost-neutral for the first 3x months) perhaps I should work out the points value first :rotfl:

Worth persisting with the BS re the alleged overpayment - I had a similar issue with Nationwide last year (I'm also on a fix till March 2011). It was something only came to light because I had started to check my balance on-line and noticed some unusual looking 'charges'.

I had to speak to someone quite high-up in the organisation to sort it all out, but my persistence paid off in the end so it was worth it!!

I would think it is very low in points QB, cos the only fat is in a little milk :)

I would certainly say that the weetabix cake is very tasty and easy to make.
