Afternoon everyone.
Wow been busy this morning. Popped up local shops (and only spent 99p), came back and put the vac round all downstairs, fed kids lunch, dropped one off at nursery and just been in the garden for an hour getting up some leaves and cutting back some stuff. Phew time for a cuppa methinks :rotfl:
BM is on at the mo. Washing is nearly up to date and don't really want to put it on for a half load. I've bought some basics peppers the weekend from Mr S as they were all red and orange ones (I don't like the green, too bitter for my taste - I need sweetening up) so I've got to chop those up and de-seed them so they can go in the freezer.
Tea tonight will be tuna (tinned) and tomato and pepper pasta.
H really wanted to start putting up the Christmas decs up yesterday but I managed to hold him off til next weekendMind you got called Scrooge for my trouble  Moi? I am THE spirit of Christmas :rotfl:
Diva - Glad you made Tris laugh even if he ended up sucking more oxygen for the trouble. Laughter is good for the soul

Right off to have a surf before demon child wakes up from her nap!
Have a good day OS or not. Hugs to those that need them.
Edited to say: oooopsI forgot I spent £6.99 on M&S Milk Chocolate Liquer whilst I was shopping. I don't like Bailey's so this is normally my very own special Christmas drink tipple
Oh and I've dying to use this smiley but have no way of sneaking it in so I shall stick a random one on the end just for funI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

afternoon!
I've thought I'd be one of the first to use my Christmas avatar!:xmassign::D I usually wait till December but Rudruby and Aussie are way ahead in the Christmas stakes!Do what you love :happyhear0 -
Hi Chums, lousy day here in Kent as well ,its almost dark already.I have Uni tonight, so I hope we can get in early, as the caketaker seems to open up when he feels like it, and we all stand and get wet and cold outside.
Popped to the Savacentre to get son-in-law a jumper as its his birthday this week, and got 10% off with my Uni student card.Met youngest DD and she said the three little boys are all poorly now (son-in-law was working from home today so she could get to the shops) and the middle one hasn't eaten since Saturday as he feels sick all the time. There is definitely a nasty bug doing the rounds in the schools at the moment
Only five more Christmas pressies to get, and one birthday so its not too bad .Hopefully I will get all of it done by the end of the week.
Right I'm off to have a late lunch/early dinner as I have to be out by 6. The lamb bones that I did overnight in the SC smelt lovely this morning so I have about a litre and a half of Lamb stock to freeze for soups.
Take care all, and stay warm and dry if possible
Cheers JackieO x0 -

I'm sure there's an abbreviation page on another thread, I'll have a look in a mo
Here it is
Morning everyone
It's really windy and wet here - great start to the working week
Had M&S chicken, roast potatoes, choc puds and wine yesterday - it was yummy and easy - a lovely treat
Well I've made the packed lunches, going to jump in the bath soon and get ready for work
Dinner tonight will be sausage and pasta bake. Need to pop to the shops and get some washing up liquid and flour for bread making.
Pen-Pin - sorry to hear your sad news (((((hugs)))))
Have great OS days everyone
Thanks for the help! I think my brain wasn't working this morning because I didn't even think to search for it as well as other things on here.
I'm less confused now... IYSWIM(and I thought that before was people telling others they swam! And when I've seen people put 'TIA' at the end of things, I just thought they were called Tia! I feel like such a lemon now!)!Dogs and Cats are better than kids because they eat less, don't ask for money... and if they get pregnant, you can sell their children!0
