    Morning all

    SGT
    happy birthday

Jill please don't judge your brother on your own beliefs, that simply is not fair. I am guessing he has chosen not to have children? If that is the case then do you think he is the best person to take on your kids in a worst case senario? Just because you don't have anybody else does not mean he wants them blood or not. He may want to say no but not feel that he can. You can't plan for every eventuality in life. With regard to the presents all of my family ask for links for the kids - sis, Sil, Mum, FiL - I struggle to know what to get my own kids and don't expect other family members to stress about it! A majority of kids these days have far too much (mine included). How he spends his money is entirely his choice. I know all this seems harsh but I do think you need to look at things from his point of view x

Dailies and then to town with a huge list of things to do.

Just a quick post before I put on some slap and go and visit friend.

JillD - Its a difficult situation, I like tooch did wonder about godparents. When my son was small we asked one of them if they would take over should anything happen. I think I will wait 6 months and then ask DS (who'll be 18) if he would take care of his sister (1/2 sister) should anything happen to us.

embb - hope littley has a better day today, it often happens like that where the teachers see the reaction to something rather than the original incident

orkney - Hope there is some improvement for your mum today

SGT - HAPPY BIRTHDAY 3.gif Are you still in sunny Spain?

    Hope everyone 2.gif

    Update on list

Nothing so far but have showered, dressed, taken girls to school, emptied dishwasher, reloaded with breakfast dishes, wiped table and ordered DS main Christmas present.

Ok gotta go or will be late
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
  • Morning all :) Back from the holiday, and lots of house work to do!

Have the inspectors coming tomorrow to see how the kitties has settled down (we got them this summer), so better make the house presentable!

I completely echo DustyKittens post on this JillD, hope you all come to some sort of resolution on this :).
OK, off to do some more sorting of DS's clothes, so this is not completely off topic :o.

  • Hi all

I'm not moving very fast this morning - feel a bit hot with a sore throat, too - but don't know whether I've caught DH's cold or whether it's just reaction to my seasonal flu jab yesterday. :o

Must find my list and cross a bit off before lunch.

It's just about 10:00, and I have the boiler man coming sometime this morning, so I'll start and work until he turns up, or 11:00am, whichever is sooner....
