Afternoon campers :D Having another enforced day in due to me keep ordering online, and now waiting for DHL to deliver yet another parcel. Probably turn up the same time as yesterday - 5pm I do need to go out and get to the post office and the chemist in the village, so will pop a note on the door to deliver to my next door neighbour if I'm not in.

Wrote out the ingredients I need to make a last minute christmas cake and some mince pies next week, so will get Dave to pick them up Saturday morning in Asda. Am off to Bromley tomorrow to do some Christmas shopping with some friends.

Took delivery of my Mrs Beeton's Larder collection from The Book People this morning, just couldn't resist when I was ordering one of Dave's presents.. Ooooh there's a lovely one on Christmas shall browse that one with a cup of tea in a minute I think.

Hopefully Monday morning my Dyson attachements will arrive - I think I have thrown away the crevice tool, the stair tool and the brush. So now I can't hoover the stairs or corners etc, I can't get on with the mini turbine tool so will have to hoover as best as I can until the new bits arrive. Dave wasn't happy that I had to buy them but I couldn't really not have any attachements..lol. Knowing my luck I will find the other ones when the new ones arrive..:D

Hugs to everyone that needs them..

    Afternoon all

    Today's list done.

Modem playing up again, several times lately I've had to unplug it and plug it in again when it's just gone off in the middle of something.

OK, time to serve up dinner, I'll catch up later :)
  • Boiler man has come and gone. Thrifty: if you think this lot can talk, you should hear my boiler man :eek::eek::eek::eek:

... and in his case it is all pompousness and patronising and self-opinionated...

Then he told me he is retiring & I'll have to find someone else next time...:o.

Hey ho. On with making lunch and hoovering. At least I managed the dusting before he came & monopolised my time.

    Back later
