Hi folks, thanks for all the support. I am not flying today. I have a hospital appointment, just routine, and then we are going to see if we can face some shopping.

I might persuade DH to go and look at pooches in the rescue centre. Our house seems horribly empty at the moment.

    Morning all,

I didn't get everything that I wanted to yesterday but I made a big hole in it so I achieved more than I usually would. I must keep reminding myself that I am starting at the beginning and can't expect to get the house licked into shape in one week. :o Sorry, I haven't had a chance to read through the thread properly yet but will try to make some time to later.

  • Morning all, have washed up and plan to do another lot of washing up a bit later. I need to catch up as didn't wash up on Saturday or yesterday so have a back log.

Have also listed some flower brooches on ebay this morning. My buttons have arrived, yay! That means I can finish off the brooches and list them, so will be a busy few days getting that done I think!

Sorry I know my previous post sounds really greedy, its his meanness of spirit that annoys me more than enything, he just isnt interested in the children at all, didnt even come over for the little one's Christening. I know they arent his and not everyone is into children but they are family, and as he is my only brother and DH is an only child , he is their only uncle, argh I am off ranting again sorry.
Thinking from the children's point of view, if the sad day ever comes (which I'm sure it won't) that you and their father die, and they get shipped off to live with this man, I would be miserable. From what you say, he doesn't care about them and doesn't really know them as people. If I was a child in that position, I would prefer to live with a friend of my mum and dad, someone who I know, who knew my parents and who cares about me. Family is not always the best option, love is. Just my opinion.

GP has increased meds (again) and they are giving me tremors that come and go through the day. Very embarrased yesteday as I struggled to input my card pin and pack my shopping - goodness knows what the cashier thought of me.
As a former cashier, I'm sure she was concerned and had kind thoughts toward you. If she didn't, then she's not worth worrying about. I had people with all sorts of problems through my till and always felt bad for them and tried to help them.

Hugs Embb, hope things get better for littley at school and that you feel better too

Tinkerbellsmum hope you get the leak fixed and can get your water put back on soon

Hugs Orkney, hope your mum’s ok

    Welcome H

Princess Lou how are you? How are things going?

Smartie hope you feel better soon

Poohbear hope your day goes well today. Thanks for your PM, I will reply as soon as I can

I'm really tired and not really functioning properly today so am doing things at a veeeerrrrrryy slow pace! I'll get there eventually!
