I'm going to see the world!
At is stands I should be debt free when I'm 34 and it has always been my dream to travel.
With around £700 a month not going on debt I think I would be able to save up enough to do this. Roll on 2014!!:rotfl:0 -
What will I do with all my spare money? I will spend it all on my girlfriend her infinite patience makes her a credit to the human race for crying out loud.Barclaycard - £489.74 / £500.00
CapitalOne - £1933.92 / £2000.00
Marbles - £719.45 / £750.00
Beneficial Finance - £398.86 / £450.00
Abbey Overdraft - £8500 -
I'll be saving so that I can:
- afford to work less hours and use the extra time to write a fabulous novel.
-buy a house for me and OH
-maybe get married (tentative....)
- pay my Mum back (and then some) the money she gave me to help out when I was a dumb student who ended up up !!!!!! creek.
-driving lessons and a car- nothing flash, just something that means no more waiting at bus stops in the rain.

Hopefully we will put away half our debt money (dfd feb 09) towards a deposit for our girls, otherwise they will never be able to leave home the way house prices are going! The other half will go on some luxuries for me and my other half.0

my dfd is really close and to be honest I don't quite believe. I am sure that something will happen- car blow up and I will be back in debt. So bizarre as this sounds I am panicking about my dfd. In theory the £300 I spend on debt should over pay the mortgage- but can't see it panning out like that.
I am being negative aren't I?0 -
I should be debt free by August 2007 and then I intend to spend the extra money I have on a gravestone for my mum's grave, and to have a holiday! Nothing fancy, maybe a cheapie trip to spain or a week in blackpool or something - anything to get away from it all.0

Can't quite believe i.m ever really gonna get there!! Feels like i've been in debt forever, got married at 18 and am 40 this year and have never been solvent!! Thanks to having a big family -5 kids!! Yes i know my own fault! However they're all growing up now - one has left a home already and another is working full time so she's contributing to household. Am now able to work full time and have a reasonably decent job (luckily) so am plugging away. My dream is to go backpacking round the world when youngest is grown up (he's 7) and then move to south of france (Yeah right!!) Am so inspired by everyone on this site and am determined to get sorted. Thanks everyone!Official DFW nerd - 282 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts'
