I want to buy a small car so I can get to more distant, cheaper shops, rather than having to rely on what is within walking or biking distance, and be able to do a weekly shop without having to get a taxi home (meaning I go to the supermarket almost daily so I don't have to carry too much home at the moment!), and then start saving for a depost on a house which will probably take about another 20 years in this area.

I would love to go to the Carribean too, maybe even get married there and not tell anyone beforehand, money saving sneakyness. :p Tho the boyf wouldn't do that, he'd rather get married somewhere boring with family there which I'm sure would end up costing more and wouldn't be as fun. :(

I've not been abroad since I was 13 with my family.

I will SAVE for things I want rather than my bad old pre-MSE/DFW days or credit carding everything and thinking - i'll pay for it later.

I agree with loopyloo. But I also want to go on an amazing family holiday to New Zealand and Australia - take 4-6 weeks out there and just have a fab time.

When I'm debt free then I start saving for my world tour!! (well as far as i can get)

I have a strict plan and am determined to do this before I turn 30 - 4.5 years away.

After that, well, I'll just be happy to be debt free.

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Good luck, I hope you all get what you wish for. I would like to pay off all our debt and then save up to do up our new house so that it is clean bright and modern with a lovely kitchen and bathroom and a dining room which has lots of light and looks out onto the garden.
The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best
