A recent sort out of my kitchen cupboards revealed a few forgotten things that I have no idea what to do with! I'm sure I bought these groceries with the best of intentions but.....

anyhow here is a thread for us to share those forgotten things and hopefully get some ideas on how to use them up :)

  • I found in my cupboard two bottles of askeys chocolate flavoured sauce, the kind you put on ice cream and it goes hard. Only, it tastes vile, really disgusting and no one will eat it. Any ideas what i can do with it to make it edible or should i just bin it?

Oooh, this might stop me wasting things. I am good at following recipes but not very good at coming up with my own. I have a tin of stewed steak that I need to use up.
