Good thinking as I could boil up the chicken carcass however i have tried and tried and i cannot for the life of me make chicken soup - do you have a good fool proof recipe please?
Honestly, you don't need a recipe. What you do need is to ensure that you don't use too much liquid so the stock turns out too watery and bland.
Once it's reduced and flavoursome just chuck in some onions, finely chopped carrots and a handful of rice. Plus some nice herbs or whatever and away you go.0 -
Hi all! As the title says I need dinner for 3 adults and 2 small kids and I have a load of eggs in the fridge (that I only think are still ok to eat!!) and some potatoes that need using. Any suggestions? Ideally it needs to look like a dinner (for OH's sake!), be able to be reheated and fairly quick to cook.
I don't do eggs for dinner V often so I'm a bit stuck. I can add other stuff to it and I'm a fairly competent cook.
Thanks in advance for any ideas :beer:1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100

I have onions, peas and red peppers in the fridge. Lots of cheeses, some chorizo, various types of bean, tins of tuna, possibly some frozen prawns...... Not sure what else but am open to suggestions....1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100
