I dilute mine with some vinegar (wine or white distilled) give it a good shake and use it as salad dressing - absolutely to die for. Its also virtually fat free and is fantastic on jacket potatoes.
I also pour it into HM chilli con carne - gives it a nice sweet taste.
Don't worry about a use by date - it lasts for ages. I buy the big litre bottles from the chinese supermarket 3 or 4 at a time  and have never had one "go off". I am a bit addicted to the stuff though:o :rotfl:.

Just looked in the freezer - i have so much stock that i now have no containers left. Going to have to make some soup on the weekend to start using some of it.
What can i do with lettuce and spring onions - can you freeze them?MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0 -
I've started to store stock in old plastic coke and water bottles.think I might also store soups in too as long as they are thin enough to pour throgh a funnel lol:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

This Ive come to know...

you cant really free lettuce and S-O's. You can probably freeze lettuce soup ok, if you can be bothered? We are just going to use up a lettuce with more chicken fajita wraps except OH is going to make the fajitas with some help from Kenwood chef
that's if the chicken has defrosted by then I only remembered to take it out half hour ago! I sense we will be eating late tonight lol
Also to add the B&B pudding was gorgeous. I made a choc sauce AGES ago ( ie months) and its been lurking in the back of the fridge.OH was rather sceptical of the thrown together recipe, we came away thinking smaller portions would be good enough for a dinner partyA LOT nicer than the tescos microwave- tray. :rotfl:
Hope everyone has a good day today, Friday is my buying lunch day and I havent sofar this week. Im going to be in central london- and am happy to treat myself as Ill be outdoors all day with no heating at all. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Today's dinner will be chilli made with tomatoes, chick peas, sweetcorn and peas from the cupbaord (all in tins - seem to have a glut) and I will add some spam - bought in a fit of not sure what when it was on offer ages ago. As there will only be me here for lunch, the leftovers will do for tea tonight for me and OHSealed pot challenge no 889: £143.96 saved :j
