If you lived at the address they claim is a link then it will remain. If you never then they will not remove it.

Is this to do with you moving before your split, then blagging saying you never moved after all? You remember what I mean - right? lol :D

    Here you go

On Experian I have over 150 linked addresses, but most of them are slightly wrong spellings of the same few addresses, and some are from the same company tweaking the addresses! Before I embark on a mission to get them removed, is it worth it? I mean, would 150 linked addresses reflect badly to a lender, and would experian be willing to remove the addresses which aren't spelled correctly?

Hi all, I applied for Vanquis card last week, they said I would hear in 10-14 days. They rang the day after saying I had been accepted but tried to sell me the insurance or whatever it is (not very nice person - heavy selling). I told him I would cancel the card if he was trying to force me into getting the insurance??

Anyway how long does it take now before i get the card and pin please? Thanks

I have one of these, balance £500. Outrageous APR, I hardly use it and always pay off the balance in full. They have called me quite a few times from an 0800 number, probably to try and sell something to me, I always refuse to go through security over the telephone and always insist they communicate in writing. They also used to send credit card cheques with each statement until I told them to stop (for the 3rd time). Honestly, these muppets just want people to get into debt and struggle to pay it back...

lol They are a bank. It would be unnatural for a bank to help people out of debt and prevent them from getting in to debt.

All they are concerned about is to make sure the money continues to roll in.

Mate you need to go back to the LA and tell them they have reported an address to the Electoral Register which is incorrect, i.e. not you. They will then confirm their error and you then send that letter to the CRA's.... ;);)

Hey, today at lunchtime, i went to HSBC branch to reapply for credit card application again (i was advised this is the only way)....it was like a grilling interview checking for each credits applied into my account e.g salary, tax credits/child benefits and the outgoings like council tax, rent etc. I found it quite off putting as the customer advisor seems to be scrutinising every detail with my account.

This went on for 10 mins and then she asked me how much credit limit do i want? I told her that usually if application is successful will determine what credit limit i can get. She said no, the limit i want will take into account in the credit scoring and can have an impact .... (is this true or its basically bulls*it?

So i told her (on the safe side) £500 CL...the minimum limit available.

Next thing i know i was accepted instantly and signed paperwork and said card will be with me 5-7 working days.

So yes i finally got the card!! However im starting to regret choosing lousy limit so what shall i do?
