i wanna see how MASSIVE my credit limit goes on statement 4 lol

    :rotfl:
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.... £500? :D Unless they've now done away with that stupid policy, but my limit hasn't gone up (and my statement was generated on 23rd) so they aren't giving monthly checks! I really want this new Aqua card lol!

im only puttin a £7.99 monthly experian membership debit to it the cap 1 card and thats it, so id be surprised if its anythin MAJOR though its on sheer principle for giveing me a crap limit, the woman on the activation line tried to talk me into settin up a dd for it i said no as itll only be used for what its USEFUL for a £7.99 monthly debit, so id maintain it online though she did point out the use my status as a dd payer in there credit limit increase decisions so might bite the bullet and set 1 up, then she tried to get me to take payment protection on it i just laughed pointing out my max possible debt could only be £300 so whats the point

    :rotfl:

as for aqua u sent the cca away yet?

Haha, stuff paying for Experian! Bunch of cowboys. I want my £2 back! And as for DD, they said that rubbish to me.... I got the same as everyone else gets when it came to increase time! Unless you miss a payment and they manually review it or something I seriously don't think it's got any effect, I think it's just cheaper for them to process DDs rather than debit card payments - hence them trying to force you onto DD, and o2 not being too impressed with my contract being billed to my credit card rather than DD

Yea I sent it Friday afternoon, I doubt I'll get the card anytime soon, it was 2nd class too (they pre-paid). Would be amusing if the card turned up on my birthday (about 10 days time I think)

Couple of days when I was refunded before, should get it by the end of the week :)

Oh and beware it won't count as a payment, so if you only pay the minimum on statements you'd still have to do so, even if the refund is applied

Haha, exactly! Depends which way round they do it though, sometimes I've had pin first and no card, others I've had card and no pin. If I get the card first I can use it online still..... if I really have got a half decent credit limit I'm on a spending spree!! And thanks to those National Express idiots they've maxed out my other card putting failed transactions through, so I've got to wait for them to be deleted

I'm assuming my credit limit shows up with the card like with Crap1? Hopefully that comes first, I really wanna know what I got, but I'll keep requesting increases either way if I don't get automatic ones

AQUA "always" well at least accordin to everyones experiences on this send ure pin first think thats part of there system, if ure any different u can be a trend breaker an ull be the "first" lol, i still rekon ull get about £500 to start(at least)..........as for ure limit give them a good week an a half to acknowledge reciept and set ure account up, id call them on the 3rd may, gently knudgin them along and askin them to get there finger out how much longer ure cards gonna be etc, with the famous end quote "oh an whats my limit"..........requestin ure own increases id wait at least every 4-6 months(ideally 6) 4 if u just cant stand the waitin any longer... its worth pointin out id been approved initially for a limit of £600 online via instant acceptence..........only to discover once my account was actually "set up" it was actually £800 hence id give them a good week an a half, 3rd may etc.....

It has been really quiet on here for the past few days. I think it's about time we liven up the thread!

Funny story.. Sunday afternoon I bought a car on finance, paid the deposit and by Sunday evening, I changed my mind.

    :rotfl: Fun times.

On a better note, me and my Lloyds Amex is getting on great and I think it is about time I send Capital One on their way.
