oh part of ure online servicin with aqua includes a section where YOU can request a credit limit increase online yourself etc and it even lets you name ure own limit which kinda made me smile i wouldnt be to greedy in your requests though lol and uve gotta wait at least 3 months before u do.

oh and before i forget an u start worryin if ure just sendin ure cca back today expect REALISTICALLY your card to arrive in upto 3 weeks time........yip 3 weeks.......there not the quickest oh and keep a note of this 0292 081 8079 its there cheap rate number thanks to INNOCENT by the way as i got it from him.

My card came yesterday - £900 limit. My pin came on saturday. I sent my cca off Easter Saturday and they only got it on the 13th April. So from being put on their system to getting the card was a week, but from sending CCA off it was 3ish weeks. I expect you will have the card in 2 weeks max.

Why not ring them re credit limit? You need to press option 2 and if they cant find you on the system ask for the new applications team, just say you want to go through a few things before sending CCA off. Then you can ask limit etc!

I had to ring as the application froze on the submitting page and i didnt wanna re submit if they had it, so i called the day after i applied and explained what happened, and was told i was accepted and what the limit was

I need to ring to register for the online thingy..thanks for reminding me, i will do this now!

you dont need to ring just visit the website

couldnt confirm without lying about it ive not had mine that long myself though it does say,,,,,,,,, u cant request one till at least 3 months........also many many many moons ago b4 my iva days and my credit glory days my bos card was always eligibile for an increase every 3 months and my halifax wasnt much different........ though this is kinda subprime but treated more like a human being beng compared to cap1 etc......so id EXPECT one every 4 months, provided u keep it sweet ..........this is merely a hunch though really were needin a LONGTERM AQUA USER to chip in and confirm.........

Ah cool thanks I went to the shop....forgot to take the CCA with me! So I'll send it tomorrow instead!! Will be interesting to see when I get the card back.

I hope my statement date is near the start of the month too... at the moment I have 19th (to 23rd, depends what mood they're in and when they actually generate it!!) with Natpest, and 23rd all the time with Cap1, so if I buy something expensive I wait until then.... so having one at the start of a month would help even more......

Providing this goes through ok, anyone know if it would improve my chances of getting a Halifax Reward Current Account? Because they're both BOS? Or can they not share data between themselves that freely? Because Halifax rejected me for everything and I'm not impressed with them! And I got declined for Sainsburys card (which they issue) so I was kinda shocked to get this! I guess it's because I had to phone up and they added a manual note on that might have helped, just speculation though of course

couldnt sy one way or anothr regarding the current account........though.........say you kept ure aqua card sweet for 6 months and applied for your current and got knocked back, id utilise my aqua card mint status in the appeal letter which has gotta be a positive, if it swas me id argue im suitable for an ovedraft aswell if i had to appeal as its another form of loan ie there trusting u to be responsible to pay ure overdrft back and theyve ALREADY trusted u to pay back ure AQUA card speakin hypothetically in 6 months time and uve not let them down.......ure also in a good position age wise and having no adverse i always found i won every appeal when i was young as i always pointed out everyone has to start somewhere.......

Spoke to the HSBC customer relations dept earlier today and the guy said that once the disputed credit search recorded on experian credit file has been removed (after next Experian CAIS update, i am free to apply again....without the 6 months rule between HSBC credit card applications.

Strange really.
