Ah good, I haven't got Sygma but if I do get this Aqua card through I won't be applying for them again, it's only Tesco I want now for the clubcard points, if I get this don't even need Vanquis - although the Diamond would be rather awesome just for the look of it! I love the look of my Cap1 card, but I'm thinking of closing it subject to this going through ok, £200 never increasing limit is an insult, even Natpest aren't that bad to me!

This is from the Aqua site though

    Minimum Credit Limit N/A
Maximum Credit Limit Subject to status

So I could get less than £250 :( What are they like with limit increases anyway? And do they search you for them or are they done internally? And do you request or they just stick it up automatically?

Going to go post my CCA back in a minute, why can't they just take online CCA like Natpest and Cap1?!?!? Would have the card by now if they did!

zack i think ull get about £500 u have credit albeit not a lot but u do, i mean i applied online instant acceptance and it came up a message my ESTIMATED credit limit was to be £600 AFTER my account OFFICIALLY OPENING it changed to a start limit of £800 also remember aquas also gave u there BEST RATE same as me i honestly think ull be surprised mate

oh part of ure online servicin with aqua includes a section where YOU can request a credit limit increase online yourself etc and it even lets you name ure own limit which kinda made me smile i wouldnt be to greedy in your requests though lol and uve gotta wait at least 3 months before u do.

oh and before i forget an u start worryin if ure just sendin ure cca back today expect REALISTICALLY your card to arrive in upto 3 weeks time........yip 3 weeks.......there not the quickest oh and keep a note of this 0292 081 8079 its there cheap rate number thanks to INNOCENT by the way as i got it from him.

So that make it vanquis, capital one,aqua,barclaycard,sygma..
Remember sygma & barclaycard use equifax and the other 3 use experian..
Have you had your equifax report up as there might be something on there hiding away..

Flip forgot about adding them to the decline list back last month :j

No one wants to give me a card!

I suspect the reason is because you don't have enough credit history. Wait another 6-12 months and it will become more easier. Why not ask your own bank if they can give you one?

Got Experian, Exquifax and call credit reports.

All 3 are identical, showing all accounts, all up to date, all listed on voters roll, all showing nothing adverse.

I doubt I'll get as much as £500, I've got £550 combined as it is, plus my o2 contract (but that's listed as £0 @ 0 months, despite being a 18 month £35 quid one :rotfl:) and the 2 shopping accounts (£225 combined). I might have to get rid of a few to get them marked as settled.... They think I've got loaded parents, but I can't see them approving me with that much as I'd then have over 1k available - I've only got 10/11 months repayment history as it is! Oh and 1k into my overdraft, which can be revoked at any time... so could rack up 2k debt

Haha request your own limit, damn I hate that, wish it was pre-approved. Alliance had a request your own, they didn't like my request for a grand I don't think :rotfl:. I might phone up and ask, see if I can persuade them to tell me if there is any kind of limit pre-approved on my account, then I'll request that.... yea I'll wait a few months though

Haha, I was going to go and post my CCA back today in the hope I'd get it at the start of next week, no need to rush and post it back if they're going to take a lifetime though!

i phoned barclaycard yesterday and asked them about the internal scoring after 6 month period, about getting another card without credit scoring.
He said they do an internal check but said they also have to do a credit check as well..
Which think about it they aint just going to give you another card just because you have payed them on time for 6 months..if anyone gets bored today phone barclaycard up and they will confirm this to you..

When I got my 2nd Barclaycard, no credit check was performed...it might be a procedure but does not mean they will do it systematically.

Same for me, they are useless....if not sorted within next couple of days, am really going to kick a fuss to them.

I'll stick to the automatic ones then, how often are they?

And I'm guessing by your posts, you didn't have the best of times with them!!! Will be interesting to see how long it does take them to send me mine!
