    Ye, I got a instant acceptance but just due to the credit limits you and steph were talking about i might of picked the wrong card as i got such a low limit

    Right mate i see, but then again keep your file clean for 6 months then go for another barclaycard at least you aint got the intial barclaycard..
  • re the initial barclay card does that appear on the 'letmechoose' thing? I only ask as i have tried the let me choose and they keep saying go away, but i cant see why i wouldnt be able to get one looking at this, from their website i should tick all the boxes, i know there are other factors but i have nothing nasty on my file apart from an AP that has been running as a normal account for 12 -18 months now
    • You have no history of bankruptcy
    • You have not had any County Court Judgments (CCJs) or Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs) registered against you in the past 5 years
    • You have not missed multiple payments on a credit agreement within the last 12 months
    • Don't already have a Barclaycard
    • Have had a permanent UK address for 3 months or more
    • Have a regular income of more than £10,000 pa
    • Are aged 18 or over

    I done that let me choose thing from barclaycard it come up nothing for me..
    I then checked my equifax report nothing wrong with that,did not even have a search on it then applied for the barclaycard it then got referred phoned up 4 days later and said i have been accepted..had a current account with them for the last 10 years as well so dont know how much that would of helped..
    Depending on your equifax report brians daughter check it out if its seems ok then apply..dont know what they will say about arrange to pay think phone them up and explain it to them..

    I got a letter today from Lloyds about my application for their AMEX duo card.

    Accepted with a £1000 limit. :j:j Nothing about the apr as of yet.

    7 cards as of today. :D
