I got a letter today from Lloyds about my application for their AMEX duo card.
Accepted with a £1000 limit. :j:j Nothing about the apr as of yet.
7 cards as of today.
Congrats, its a really good card, gr8 customer service, i've never had any complaints. They are really good for increases too. I started on a limit of £1750 and just over a year later, its more than doubledCurrent Accounts with Lloyds TSB and Bank of Scotland

Off the top of my head, you get 1 for every £10 spent on m/c and 2 for every £10 spent on amex (i think). Its pretty cool how quick they build up tho, I'm trying to save for a free flight at the mo. If you register on the airmiles website when you get the card tho, you get something like 250 airmiles straight away (altho they might have a different offer on now, that was over a year ago, lol). Worth looking at the website xCurrent Accounts with Lloyds TSB and Bank of Scotland

Congratulations!! :j Do you have a Lloyds account? I did apply for one last month but was referred and then declined due to 99CD marker on my account!! Thats the only reason they said no!
Well done mate, i still cannot believe you are now on your 7th.... seriously it is getting a bit out of hand now...you shouldn't be getting any more credit cards.... its like you are rubbing in our noses.....:o
Still at least you got the AMEX to go with Mastercard Airmiles Duo account.0 -

Rubbing in your noses? Absolutely not! I had nothing more than a Vanquis at 59% like the majority of everyone else who makes that first climb onto the credit ladder. I guess I'm just being rewarded for the past few years of paying high rates, having !!!!!! limits and not defaulting.
