Oh my god!!!!
I think I have been accepted by Cap 1 for their Classic card!!!!!
Went through the initial assessment and eventually signed an agreement!!
Said my card should arrive in 7 - 10 days!!!!
I assume this means I will defo get a card now - guessing £250 limit?
Can anything go wrong with my application or has it defo been accepted?
What are cap 1 like for limit increases?
Thanks
WooHoo,
Just spoke to Cap1, They have given me a limit of £200 which is the minimum stated but who cares!!! Almost feel like a real person lol!________________________________________

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0 -

Before the credit crunch i wanted a 20k unsecured loan from halifax. they turned me down because of not having a mortgage.
Having a mortgage does not change a persons risk factor, yea it helps their overall credit score under "stability" facotrs but thats it. Maybe if they have a mortgage and then secure a debt to it, obviously, but there are many factors to take into account.
You need to bear in mind the actual available risk, available profit, loan-to-value amount etc etc
basically a mortgage does nothing when scoring for unsecured debts other than show you can meet commitments, but then still, if you have a mortgage and loads of unsecured debts - you fall into hard times, tell me, what will you pay and what will you forego?
I know the answer to that and so do the lenders lol
