Call them up. If you ask nicely, they'll give you 0% purchase for six months if the purchase is for over £165.
BTW how long had you held your Flybe card for before applying for the Silver card?

Well done on getting Vanquis Mrs Ryan
Haha so true. I applied for finance when I was checking out and got refused lol. I may request a catalogue though, as that's like the new application process
They done you a huge favour declining you :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
I currently have one of these:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/IBM-Lenovo-Thinkpad-T43p-2-13GHz-15-UXGA-2669-H2G_W0QQitemZ160414900487QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Computing_Laptops_EH?hash=item2559792107
But with a 2.26GHz CPU, 2GB RAM, and a 100GB 7200RPM Hard Drive.
I want to sell it (have an offer of £250 from a friend) and buy this to replace it:

Along with an upgrade to 4GB RAM & 320GB 7200RPM Hard Drive (£110 from eBuyer).
Would put my "new toy" urge away for another year and it's a damn sight cheaper than the previously planned £1,000 PC.
Dare I? Do I need to be told not to?Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48

when peope on here refer to 'keeping a running balance' on your current accounts (to create a good history), what would you recommend...just £1+ or £50+?
