    Just another quick question.

Will money be able to be taken out on a card which has been stopped and for which a new card (with new number) and new pin has been sent out?

The answer to this should settle a few nerves.

when i had a runing with paypal i got a new card and number so they could not take any more money

well guess what never in doubt & tfd i will be getting rid of my vanquis card, thankyou very much indeed.
i actually did not apply to anyone of them 3 cards i posted ear;ier,so fair enough bets off,i am still in shock this company do check equifax ,i then got accepted for the john lewis cc not sure what my apr will be,but bet it will be better than what i am getting.
been trying to check threads but no one seems to talk about them.
not sure what the card will be like, but did say my equifax was alot better than my experian.now going to try set up a thread...and dont think it was luck either cause i did end up paying for my equifax score which was (414) which said most lenders will think you are good for credit,or something along them lines..

John Lewis also exclusively search Equifax so maybe that is why you got lucky..... however they will do additional checks prior to sending agreement and again prior to sending card, when they get the signed agreement back.

It is issued by HSBC and they are extremely careful who they lend to - best of luck but I expect them to run things past Experian when they 'dig' deeper unless of course, your only issue is searches in which case you may be ok.

I still think you talk !!!!!!, so would be nice if you post a copy of the card if/when you do get it....

No - not if it was a recurring payment which I assume the Money Shop will say it is, to stop card cancellation (otherwise we'd all do that!)... See here to learn about the recurring payment (con) set-up....
