    Hey

Does anyone know if Halifax have changed the design of their cards? I got mine in December and its like a light blue with different shades of blue, as though it is going through a crystal, my mate applied last week, got his card and its light blue with a dark blue stripe going down one side with 'Reward' written on it....

I think it's worth sharing my little tale, to encourage those people who bury their head in the sand (not a dig at people, I was one).

I have just now been given a job offer with a 6k pay rise :D

This is with a financial institution, and the only reason they didn't turn me down after the failed credit check is because I have payment plans for all my debts.

Remember, if you can keep on top of everything, then life has a funny way of rewarding you.

Just thought i'd share my uplifting tale with you all :)

Have a great weekend all

My friend has had another run in with The Money Shop.

He had used the debit card from his second account to The Money Shop to pay the £40 to roll over the loan. He did this over the phone. They have now used this card to pay for debt in full. He was not told that the card details will be stored. He is now skint and will be short for his rent this month.

Is this legal? Can The Money Shop do this? He is really worrying now.

    Any help will be appreciated.

I would imagine there is a clause in the agreement - have you checked through it? Can't say legal or otherwise until you've had a scout through their agreement :o

As a side note - yay I can haz four stars now! Can't think of anyone less deserving... I mean... umm...

    Just another quick question.

Will money be able to be taken out on a card which has been stopped and for which a new card (with new number) and new pin has been sent out?

The answer to this should settle a few nerves.
