i was only asking, what i'm trying to say is everytime i travel through towns or city's,dont get me wrong but yes i do see barclays, hsbc, bos, etc but bank of cyprus never seem to see that on the high street,

I trawl through towns all over the country and have seen some weird and wonderful establishments, but I don't go shouting stuff because someone else has something!

Actually, BoC provides a service, right now, on level par to HSBC - beat that! Their only downside is the less than super internet banking.... otherwise i'd be using this BoC account as my main one.... I prefer it than Coventry! :D

Seems all you've done is join to cause bother - starting on us lot in here will not do you any favours.... either stay and be good or do one - we don't need the hassle thanks ;)

Especially when I read how easy Sygma seem to be:T:T I am going to try and hang on till April as I have had 2 yes's this month and dont want to cack it all up again:A

    Thanks for all the advice.

Ok, sorry for confusion mate - seems we've had a lot of trolls lately, that's all and we are protective over ourselves.... without these threads there'd be loads of people with no credit, therefore we all feel we contribute in our own little way and some people cannot see beyond what they think is a 'clique' group, incorrectly may I add!

Your points are welcome, try using smileys etc so we know if you're serious, joking or confused.... like the reply above, last line says:
if you need advice on how to improve your credit report .never in doubt.feel free to ask
But maybe you don't know, i've started thread after thread detailing the processes of CRA's etc - so what could you do for me, unless you work for Experian or Equifax? :D:D

p.s. my credit rating is fine...

I applied for a virgin card last week and was turned down. I wanted to do a balance transfer on a post office cc for £500 and a barclaycard for £1000.
I rung up Halifax to change my standing order amounts on the above credit cards and they asked if I wanted to apply for their credit card for 9 months 0% on balance transfers and spending, I hesitated because of 2 searches close together, but decided to go ahead and was accepted. I have worked out that I could keep to the same payments (£200) each month and pay off the balance before the 9 months is up, just dont want a big limit, but could ring up and change if necessary.
My credit rating has not been too good in the past but I have improved it in the last 12 months.
Because of my rating they offered me the higher interest rate when the deal is over, so I guess I need to move it again, or pay off each month?
I looked at my credit rating on the recommended site which leaves no footprint and I only had one star!
