however, was any search from 3 when I applied for my Sim Zero contract (the sim for which arrived this morning). The chap I spoke to from 3 said that they credit check people for Sim Zero, but it seems odd that this wouldn't show up on my credit report?

    maybe an Equifax search? :o

    An Equifax check?

I don't have a Cap One card, I merely applied for one.

I applied for a free trial on their site, but my details didn't take. Possibly because they have moronic forms that only let you provide address details using periods of whole years. Haven't they heard of Scotland? 6 months is a standard tenancy length there!

I should write that down in case my GF decides to dump me and I need to join a dating website :D

Scotland of course (only been in the South for a year and a half to date). That said, I can see myself staying here long term. Glasgow/Edinburgh really can't compete with London in terms of jobs/entertainment/shopping!

How does this work with Equifax and Capital One, just enter my card number in and they'll know?
