When I opened my Lloyds account I was offered an OD which I didn't take up. When I got home I put a £150 OD on the account which I wasn't credit checked for.

AFAIK the pre-approved limit for new customers is £250.

ah right, I wonder then, I have £200 with Barclays at the mo which I am always in and dont like it, so I am going to pay that off after Vegas and remove it, then stay with Lloyds, but not sure if I O/D is recommended as I may blow it at Vegas :rotfl:

how long you had your vanquis card for ???? had mine since june i start on £250 then they put it up to £500 late last year ( nov)

thing is I have had a vanquis card for over 18months now but i lost my card and got another once but they closed it and started another recorded on my credit file. Only CC company to of done this as i have renewed all other cards without it affecting my file.

Limit only £250 and its a waste of time but will keep the remaining 3 cards i have tho.
