    Yes, If they pre-approve you they do not carry out an external credit check

    No, it means no credit check when you take them up on a pre-approved offer. just applying for something outright rather than taking up an offer on the home page of your internet banking involves a credit check ;)

    Enjoy a credit limit of up to £2,000 (minimum £250) - How the fuc k did I qualify for the maximum limit!
    Thats a worthwhile limit tbh still at 27.9%?

    TBH if I knew they were going to offer that I could have tried for a different one :-)

    I do not intend to leave that much of a balance on it. I have also been approved for Sigma which is 0% for 3 months.

    TBH if I knew they were going to offer that I could have tried for a different one :-)

    I do not intend to leave that much of a balance on it. I have also been approved for Sigma which is 0% for 3 months.

    I would recommend running as much as you can afford to through your Barclaycard each month, or at least using it a bit month to month, as they will reduce the APR after six months. They'll upgrade you to gold after 12 months, and then platinum after 18, with the associated APR reductions.

    You need to run the account well for them to do this, but they are very good at keeping you if you call to close the account every six months ;)

    Well done on both fronts (Sygma and BCol)!

    Cheers, I may spend approx £1000 - £1500 on it a month?

    Can you apply for another B/Card after 6 months? Do they credit check?
